Re: Xion | AU
Fuu would like to encourage Xion as much as she can. She knows that Xion has a lot to offer! (Like the plan of how to take care of the statues and topiary!)

She knows that Xion keeps things close to her chest, but she doesn't know why. After all, Sophie knows some rather secretive people, but Xion doesn't strike her as being like that. She seems far more afraid than purposefully evasive. Really, more than anything, Sophie is worried about her. She sounds like she was raised as a soldier, and that sounds just dreadful to Sophie. She feels motherly toward Xion--she hopes that she'll be able to protect her and help her to come out of her shell.

Granted at first, he hadn't been too sure what to make of Xion. The riddle thing threw him off and he had been close to writing her off, but despite himself, he has grown curious about her. After all, who doesn't know about libraries and such? There was a mystery there; he thrives on mysteries (and he's just too nosy for his own good, really), and like Brax, he's done some listening in on what's gone on with her and the rest of the people so he can keep tabs on them when he was otherwise occupied with things, but he won't openly admit that.
Now though? He wants to make sure that Xion can have fun and skirt her responsibilities for as long as she is able to. Such a responsible adult, huh? He's of the opinion that everyone needs one great adventure (or several dozen/hundreds/etc considering how he acts later in his life) before answering the call of duty.

Secondly: Xion likes Brax! He's nice. And polite. Even if he's a little funny. But he's really smart, and she's really glad that he's here, because she... Well. Before the memory screwery, she was feeling pretty useless and utterly miserable because she equated the whole murder mystery thing with riddles and well she failed at the riddle when she first arrived so how could she possibly help now? :c :c :c And she's so glad that Brax is here because she feels like he'll be able to take care of things.

...ehem.
Grimmjow thinks Brax is the only competent individual in town! Which also makes him the most dangerous. Current attitude is tolerate/cooperate with a nice helping of caution, since he's not as his best and doesn't quite know what else Brax is capable of.

Brax || OU
Oh, Fuu likes Brax a lot! He has good advice to keep her in line, is a smart gentleman, and gets serious bonus points for being kindly saving her often ^.~
He reminds her of someone, but she can't quite put her finger on who. (But I think it's at least in part her sister, who - as Brax found out - once gave Fuu some very meaningful advice.)
She trusts her instincts about him, even though it's clear that he's not about to lay all his cards on the table. (Heck, who out of all of them are? XD)
He really does come off as someone who knows everything (in a good way!). For that reason he is a bit intimidating yet also very interesting, because Fuu loves to learn.

Brax also makes her feel inferior in some ways. Their conversations always make her feel foolish and primitive--not a feeling that she enjoys. She wants to prove herself to be an intelligent person, which means she's willing to be more open with Brax than some other people (which is also true because of the bond that they're building).
She is also impressed by how unruffled he is by the situations around him. Sophie has a remarkable ability to be resilient and take things in stride, but she's got nothing on Brax, especially when taking her temper into consideration. She wishes she could be more talented, like he is--and also hopes to live a life that's half as fascinating as his seems to be.
She is, however, starting to suspect that Brax is a rather epic slitherer-outer. She does not approve of that at all, but at the same time, Sophie seems to have an affinity for slitherer-outers. She feels closer to him as she comes to understand him just a little better. Sophie also seems to just enjoy being in the company of people who annoy her. Maybe her temper demands handy situations in which to display it. But whatever the case, Sophie loves Brax's company while being overwhelmed by it.

So she likes him, just like she likes most of the other new residents, but... she's also cautious around him too. She's not sure why, but he's definitely unlike anyone else she's ever met.

Seeing Brax again is...very, very weird and honestly has made Ten want to run away at times, but in that very same breath, he wants to relish this new chance to be with him and pretend that somewhere, everything is back to normal. It's why he won't openly admit that yes, there was a Time War, everyone died, and he's the one who ended it all. In a twisted way, it's his way of protecting Brax--though that sorta was ruined (thanks Nine and that babbling bug! :|)--because he wasn't able to when the Daleks and Fifth Axis came to the Collection.
Yes, he has carried that guilt for that long. Marvel at him.
And in his own way, he's actually concerned for Brax and how he's coping with the aftermath of the invasion. Something tells me it was a very long time before the Doctor went back to the Collection--if he did at all before the Time War got into full swing, so he probably never got to see Brax like this. I mean, who learns to make a fish dinner? Honestly... Facetiousness aside, what really has him concerned are those little slips he managed to catch early on that something just wasn't right. He isn't too sure how to help Brax though he wants to while he can. How much can he, though, without jeopardising the time lines? Damn those laws of time and his not wanting to break them (yet).
The Tenth Doctor || OU

Well. Now that we've finally gotten places in the backlogged thread XD Ten is probably Xion's favorite person in town right now (next to Verita, sadly. sob). He was the first person she risked opening up to about herself and her past -- which is a Huge Thing for her, because she has this thing about being accepted, and because of the reception of what she is and the way she was treated and used in canon, she's. understandably nervous about telling people. She was so worried Ten was going to be like "ew" or something. D: He's been so nice to her and she didn't want to ruin that!
But then he not only accepted and embraced her and her story -- and asked questions and was generally Ten, but his answers caught her off-guard a lot XD -- but he Understood. Like. The reason why she started crying at the end was because she was like "oh my god he understands ;A;" and so. Yes. I need to remember to have her lower her hood for him, because she should and would. XD
Don't be surprised if she winds up like. Clinging to him now. Uhm.
On the plus side! Xion will be more open around him now in general and pretty much... be... her normal... self. For once. Because now he's most definitely her Friend with a capital F and she is sticking to him no matter what! And this means she trusts him and is going to relax and generally be a normal kid with him. *nodnod*

Re: The Tenth Doctor || OU
Full of himself, has a smart mouth...weird accent! Not human, though, so Grimmjow has filed the Doctor under "possible threat", just in case. He's not taking any chances around here.

Re: The Tenth Doctor || OU
The Doctor, who reminds Fuu of her 6th grade math teacher! XD
He's amazing, clever, and can strike to the heart of the matter (when he wants to). Fuu loves his extrapolations on things, although some times they might go a bit far ^^.
She seriously does not want to disappoint him, and takes his advice to heart. He's probably the closest thing to a Clef-type she has here, and therefore values his experience.
Even this far into the game, this line from their first conversation still stands, I think: "Certainly, the Doctor had an enormous amount of experience and knowledge, as well as a whole pile of mystery and evasiveness, which could lead to deceit. Yet Fuu decided to trust her instincts and regard the Doctor as an ally."

But alas, a brother is a brother. An irritating, obnoxious, beloved brother. Variable factor: Ten is hiding the Time War from Brax. Brax knows about the Time War and he has a very good idea about Ten hiding it, so he's actually a bit offended that Ten is keeping all these secrets from him. So he thinks Ten is either a getting bit irritatingly secretive in his old age, or that there's something else he doesn't know about this that would make Ten clamp up like, well, a clam. And then he found out about the whole destroying-Gallifrey thing, and it made sense. Oddly, this didn't affect how he thought of Ten, except in explaining one of the more annoying traits that seemed to have come out this regeneration. But Brax has come to accept that every regeneration is annoying in its own special way.

Sophie sees him as being incredibly intelligent, if rather odd and possibly missing a few marbles. Or simply pretending to be missing a few marbles, which seems the more likely case. She is fascinated by the things he knows and the life he leads, but he also makes her feel foolish and primitive, which is a sure way to upset her.
Sophie also thinks he's quite impossible, whatwith his impromptu racing and scanning her. He doesn't listen, and he shows off, and she would love to one-up him one day. At times, he reminds her of how dull she's afraid she is. Other times, he helps her to forget her worries, and she does enjoy how much he loves life. She wants to feel free to just, do things, again. She enjoyed that a lot as an old woman, but she feels more trapped in this unfamiliar town. Ten helps her to come out of her shell at times, and she trusts him more and is a lot closer to him than many of the other residents.

After that: human, knows interesting things.
At the moment: human, generally confusing.
Actually having someone thank him is downright bizarre, and she talks about things that, to him, make little to no sense. So, ODDLY ENOUGH, he's got her labeled under "tolerate" and "pay attention to" because she's strange to him and he hasn't made up his mind yet on what to do about/with her.

Fuu is thrilled to find other people to be friends with! Although they naturally won't connect on the level that Hikaru and Umi did with her, Fuu will still be very concerned with being a good friend to Cissie.

Sophie Hatter || OU
Re: Sophie Hatter || OU
Yay Miss Sophie, who reminds Fuu of her mother for some strange reason!
Initially (still?) intimidated by her temper, Fuu is attracted to the air of maturity about Sophie. She also respects her no-nonsense approach to things and how she asks questions - all sorts of questions! (Any discussion that Sophie has with Brax or the Doctor has me grinning just reading it ^.^) She's one smart cookie!
