Xion is one of the very few people in recent times who has gotten him to open up a bit. He's at the point in his life where tends to keep people at arm's length and tries not to get too attached (or re-attached to in Brax's case) because he feels that in the end, people only get hurt because of him. That, and he's very tired of people leaving him, and has even admitted to someone not long before his coming to Luministi that his companions break his heart, so that Xion has managed this much is quite the feat!

Granted at first, he hadn't been too sure what to make of Xion. The riddle thing threw him off and he had been close to writing her off, but despite himself, he has grown curious about her. After all, who doesn't know about libraries and such? There was a mystery there; he thrives on mysteries (and he's just too nosy for his own good, really), and like Brax, he's done some listening in on what's gone on with her and the rest of the people so he can keep tabs on them when he was otherwise occupied with things, but he won't openly admit that.

Now though? He wants to make sure that Xion can have fun and skirt her responsibilities for as long as she is able to. Such a responsible adult, huh? He's of the opinion that everyone needs one great adventure (or several dozen/hundreds/etc considering how he acts later in his life) before answering the call of duty.

d'awwwwww yaaaaaaaay I was actually wondering about that. Because the Doctor is probably one of the hardest characters to get to open up ever, even if you attach a wagon train of bulls to him and pull. Xion will try not to break his hearts. :c Though really, when she dies, he won't remember her so his hearts won't be able to break. *dies* UH. WELL.

Xion needs fun! She hasn't had fun in months. :c And as far as Xion's concerned, her great adventure is accepting that she needs to go back to Sora e_e hghghghghrkmvr DAMMIT GIRL.
