Sophie is still working out what she thinks of Xion! Although she's very relieved that she comes from another world with magic because, in Sophie's opinion, it's just ridiculous that there are so many people whose worlds don't have any.
She knows that Xion keeps things close to her chest, but she doesn't know why. After all, Sophie knows some rather secretive people, but Xion doesn't strike her as being like that. She seems far more afraid than purposefully evasive. Really, more than anything, Sophie is worried about her. She sounds like she was raised as a soldier, and that sounds just dreadful to Sophie. She feels motherly toward Xion--she hopes that she'll be able to protect her and help her to come out of her shell.
