How's My Driving?
Hello, everyone! As the game has been running for several months now, it is time for a How's My Driving? post.
If you choose to participate, comment here with the name and journal of your character(s) in the game, and other players will comment with constructive criticism and positive feedback about how you've been playing your character(s). In return, you can give feedback to other players, too! The idea here is that we're all working together in the game, so naturally we want to help each other's performance.
To make this as positive and helpful as possible, there are a few guidelines:
1. As mentioned above, we want this to be constructive. It is most helpful for other players if you are as specific as possible with your comments/advice. That way, the players will have a clear idea of what you feel they need to improve upon--or keep doing!
2. We want to encourage everyone to be open and honest, but in the interest of allowing you to feel safe, anonymous commenting is enabled.
3. Trolling and flames are not permitted. This about helping each other to improve, and neither of those things would accomplish that, so please be polite and constructive with the advice that you give.
4. This is completely optional. You don't have to post with your character if you would rather not receive feedback.
That said, let the HMD commence!

I have really enjoyed your Sophie and Sara!
Sophie is just brimming with all the stubbornness and fire I remember from the books - I love how she glares fit to make weed killer XD But of course with Fuu (happily!) she can bring out her nosy-but-nice side!
I adore Sara! She is so cute, but also a character with a lot of depth. I very much enjoyed getting to hear her story and I hope that her and Fuu will be able to team up again!
Thank you for always helping me out and giving me such wonderfully challenging threads to work with. I've really, really enjoyed the personality you've infused into your characters - residents included!

Sara has been a real experiment for me. I've never played a character like her before! She didn't get out very much, so I'm glad you've enjoyed interacting with her! I originally hated her in the TV series, but the audios took her so many wonderful places that I couldn't resist trying my hand at her. I look forward to her and Fuu teaming up again!
Awww, thank you! I've had fun playing with you, too :)

Always good to have a character that challenges you, eh?
I very much look forward to next time!

Also, I love that the town is putting him in situations that make him feel awkward and out of control at times because I love seeing those tiny windows of vulnerability. You play them so well! He tries so hard to be his unruffled self, and yet there are those moments where he isn't, and they fill me with glee. Even having him thrown off when Sophie asked about his tie was adorable!
As far as how you play him, I can't believe how well you do with such a complex and, honestly, messed up character. Sorry, Brax. But I think I've said before that I can hear lovely Miles Richardson from your Brax because you have his voice down perfectly, and I just adore it! He is usual impossible (or bloody infuriating) but cool and in control and sneaky self, and it is fantastic ♥.

What more can I say about your Brax? Absolutely brilliant! So clever and so kind but no doubt that there is a dangerous edge to him. Yet he was quirky in all the right places. I mean, jazzercise! Really?! (I laugh just thinking about it!)
Brax seems to be a very deep character, and I believe that you know those depths very well.
I really enjoyed all our threads together! (What girl can resist a gentleman always coming to her rescue! XD) I hope that we can have a chance for a nice little farewell, gazing at the real stars for a change? ^.~

I also love how hard Ten tries with Sophie. He really does love mouthy redheads, doesn't he? I think I've mentioned before how much I adore that you can feel Ten's alienness, especially in terms of human relationships. Because he should have that awkwardness to him when it comes to trying to understand and interact with humans closely, and the Doctor is always one who tries so hard to learn about people despite it, and that's so completely there with your Ten. His uncertainties in how to properly go about proposing to Sophie have been especially fantastic! I just want to hug him, he is so cute ♥.
Sophie kinda wants to punch him, but we'll ignore that for now >.>

First off, it's 90% the fault of you and your amazing Tenth Doctor that I'm now almost 3/4 of the way through all the new Doctor Who series. I've gone from never having seen it to having watched so much in a mere three months!
And the more I've seen of the show, the more I can appreciate how you play your Doctor. He is just fantastic! A touch crazy, a touch kind, and totally clever! He made me laugh, but I also really enjoyed reading the serious moments he had.
I look forward to seeing him in even more tough situations in the future! (...Is that mean of me to say? But it's true, I love how he is in those heart(s)rending situations!) I know that you'll play him through it all brilliantly!
Thank you for the personality you gave the residents too!

Although this is technically my fourth lj rpg, it's only the second that I've had so much activity in. I will really value your concrit! In particular, this is the first time I've so heavily used first-person, present-tense logging. I'm curious to know how I'm doing with that and if there is anything I could be doing better, (particularly when it comes to formatting). ^.^

Your threads do sometimes feel more like log threads than the more casual first-person playing that I'm used to, mostly in that they're longer and more introspective. Sometimes I feel a bit awkward when I'm responding just because it's different from what I'm used to, and I think I have a bad habit of trying to adapt my thread style to the person I'm threading with. I'm not sure why I do that... Anyway, all that sometimes those threads can require more thought on my part, but as long as you don't mind my sometimes-slow tagging, that's not a bad thing and certainly not a mistake--just different!
And you have been wonderful all along about accepting concrit and modifying things when the mechanics have been different from your previous RPing experience, and I really want to thank you for that! I'm always nervous sending out modly e-mails because sometimes people get really offended or annoyed by things like that, but you've always been gracious and have kept coming back here for more, so I don't think we've upset you too badly?? Thanks for being such a flexible and willing player ♥. Someone who's so willing to work with concrit can only get better as time goes on!

Oh, that conversation was so fun! I wish she had more chance to think about the poor guy. And the dress - Fuu totally needs to get a dress from Sophie ^.~
No worries at all about slow tagging! Sorry about making it so different, but I'm glad you're good with it. I've been learning a lot in this game! I'm trying to make my tags shorter... but I'm only having limited success at that, I think XD (lol, I should make more logs, then!)
*grin* I sometimes wonder if I come on a bit strong, but it's just because I'm so darn eager to jump fully into the game and enjoy it...! Sorry for giving you modly challenges! Thank you for your patience with me and for giving me that crit when I needed it. You've not upset me too badly at all ^.~
Thank you so much!

I love how she's developed over the course of the game, where she started out so guarded, but the amnesia and loss of her coat have required her to open up at least a little, and it's been great to be able to sneak around those walls. Also, oh my gosh, her and Ten! I love watching their threads because ♥♥♥.
Even since early in the game, I love how Xion is so guarded and guilty personally but still so protective of other people and willing to help (like with the statues!). It just makes you want to hug her even more and Xiiiiiion ;_;

Thank youuu <333
Threads with Ten = AWESOME AWESOME AWESOME. I am going to miss that CR so much when the game is over. ;_;

Ah, Xion is such a sweetheart! She developed a lot in the course of the game! And yes, her+Ten were just fantastic~!
Fuu really just wanted to encourage Xion as much as she could, and was just so impressed by the speech she gave the Mayor! (She knew that there was a bit of hero in there! XD)
You played her just awesome. A touch of derp and a bit uncertain, and with a lot of heart.
I so look forward to seeing her develop even more next season!
