The dirt is on LiveJournal itself and its customer service. It's changed hands recently, and the people who are now in charge don't seem to terribly care about their userbase. Some LJ people who are in charge have been douchebags in several different ways, and a lot of RP has decided they don't want to deal with it any more and don't want to give the site any more money. This is the real reason why games are moving, though the layout doesn't help.

If you want more deets, I can try to scrounge things back up. I just didn't want to bombard you with all of it because I'm not trying to be all "LJ IS BAD AWFUL EVIL," I'm just trying to explain. XD
