So. Remember that mystical poll I mentioned in the most recent mod post? It is here at last! And basically, this is what I want to know:

What does everyone choose? Who do you trust in the most?

Do you believe in Nathan?

Do you believe in ~~Harvey Dent~~ Filippo?

Both have their pros and cons as you've discussed and seen in-game, but with this poll, I want what to know what your character will choose. Even if they didn't see the initial encounter, they must have heard about it by now (and such things can be assumed as happening off-screen if you'd like), so they all should be aware of what choice they face.

So yes, this is a very important poll that I need everyone to vote in. Because I'm putting this poll up later than I wanted (my fault completely there), I am going to give people until the Friday to answer it, and Saturday will be the day of the mod post. But please answer as soon as possible. I'd really appreciate it!

And since I don't want to waste the poll form, I'm asking an additional couple of questions! Mainly, I'm curious to see what kinds of things you all want answered by the time the game ends.

By the way, you will need to be logged into your character's account to vote. (It was a choice between "all" or "access list" and keeping it to character journals makes it easier for me to see who's voted and such.)

I hate to say it, but I'm going to have to say good-bye to Alicia. As I mentioned in another OOC post, I had a major/sudden job change (right after I apped her!), and with the new workload, I have come to the reluctant conclusion that I am overextened in RP. I love this game to death and am super-excited for the endgame, meaning I really want to be able to go out with Sophie the way this game deserves. I think the only way I can do that is if I'm able to focus on her exclusively with my limited free time, so as much as I love playing Alicia, I can't handle a second character at this point.

I'm going to go ahead and finish current threads with Alicia--unless you'd rather drop one, in which case, let me know. But I have really enjoyed playing her, so I don't want to leave things hanging. Also, thank you so much to everyone who has interacted with her! I'll still be here with Sophie, so thankfully this isn't good-bye to Luministi!

Keep being your awesome selves, and I look forward to entering the endgame together.

I know people have been busy with going back to school and, for some of us, Labor Day weekend shenanigans, so I'm going to be extending the most recent plot! You'll have until next Monday to play with things, but just be warned: I am going to throw something at you either Wednesday or Thursday. Let me know which day you would prefer this mysterious thing thrown at you guys--or else I'll just pick~

Oh! One more thing. Starting now (for those who don't backdate), those who lost their powers can start to feel them trickling back. You won't be back up to snuff just yet, but it'll be something.

Bluhhhhh sorry I've been mega slow and will continue to be mega slow probably for a few days or a week or something.

I got this wackadoo infection and I thought I could get over it by myself and that turned out to not be the case at all so it just made itself nice and comfy and a lot worse on my end of things w h o o p s. Don't be like me, kids!

(Unrelated side note: I hope everyone who's back in school/is going back to school is having a nice semester so far. The rest of you don't get any wellwishes. Okay kidding I hope everyone is well and such. *3*)

It's time for our third and final ACTIVITY CHECK!

As the game reaches final stretch of the season, I'm not as concerned with players pointing me to their activity. Instead, I'd rather check and see whether or not you'd like to stick with the game through to the very end. Knitted goods!

Hi everyone! Megumi here again. I just wanted to say, anyone who asked Sophie for knitted goods last plot is free to assume they got them from her! Or, if you didn't ask but think your character would have off-screen, you can assume that, too :)

When passing out the items, Sophie would have been sure to note that Kanaya helped with the knitting. For each person, they knitted a hat and gloves in a colour of their choice (unless Kanaya wants to add anything here?). Just FYI, Sophie knitted a charm into the hats to encourage them to trap heat. The gloves have a protective charm in them (i.e. like what she sewed into clothing last season). The effectiveness of these charms is up to you, especially considering that the plot circumstances can vary the heat anyway. (Really, the effectiveness is also up to the town since no protective charms ever seem to stop its antics...)

I would post for Sophie, but I just switched to an entirely different and more challenging yet technically equivalent job(!?), and I am beyond swamped at the moment. But if anyone is wanting to play out anything specific, please ping me? Otherwise I'll continue backtags and tag into newer things when time permits.

If you have any questions about knitted goods from Sophie, let me know. Otherwise, stay ~~cool~~ warm, Luministi!

Heads-up!

Hey everyone! I wanted to let you all know that I made an important adjustment to the timeline of the previous plot. I explain it here, but instead of the one day in-game approximately equals one day in real-time, I'm squashing things together into a four-day time period. So this current plot starts four days after the previous one in-game.

I really hope this doesn't inconvenience people, but adjusting the passage of in-game time has happened before. I just...usually announce that a bit sooner, but this plot is still young!

If you have any questions, please don't be afraid to ask. (I really hope I'm being clear o.o;; So please, if I'm not, seriously ask!)

Second character!

Hey Luministi! Megumi here with a last-minute second character. I'm bringing in Alicia Melchiott from Valkyria Chronicles (game-verse). She was at the last fourth wall, which she will remember, and I've canon-bumped her a little from there. Alicia is from an Earth-like world, and she's a soldier in the militia in 1935 while her homeland of Gallia is being invaded. She has also recently discovered that she's the descendent of an ancient race with special powers, though she has a lot of mixed feelings about that. She's coming from the end of Chapter 16, at a point when things at home are particularly intense, but isn't that true of most everyone?

I'm on vacation at the moment, but I'll intro her (and catch up on my tags) when I'm home in a day or two. I'm looking forward to having her meet everyone!

idek, I feel weird stealing from Leafy like this, but I figured we could probably keep things straight this way (and I know not everyone has plurk, so it'd be easier to keep everyone in the loop this way too).

SO like Ichijou's group, Kon's heading up a group to find Proctor's body! EVERYONE can join in, though it's probably not a good idea to go with him if your character's with Ichijou, since they're going at it roughly the same time in-game XD

we've got the following so far:
Kon - FEARLESS LEADER, the goddamn Superboy, invulnerable to everything except magic ~~and Vriska~~
Mu - the cool, calm, collected teleporter!
Terezi - the cool troll detective, pseudo little sis
Ten - the goddamn Doctor, handy with sonic screwdrivers, master of everything (aka Kon has no idea what he can do)
Jamie - a Companion! Master at the bagpipes, friendly guy, and... well, super friendly!!

ETA: There's a gathering thread here, so just post when you can and we'll establish some kind of order as we go along. o/

If we need to split up, there'll be sub-threads or something.

My dad's been in the hospital since Saturday and we're not sure when he's getting out. He's fine, for the most part, the doctors just don't know wtf is wrong with him so they're holding onto him until they have some idea.

I have done a bit of thinking, and I'm making the executive decision to extend the deadline for applications another week.

So that means I absolutely, definitely, this time FOR SURE will be closing apps by the end of the day on August 4th. (EST time as always.)

Don't let the Olympics distract you for too long (if you're watching them! I know everyone won't be because of reasons), I'll have to put in an Olympics event and really, I don't think anyone wants to see the sort of "sporting" events I can come up with... ~~Or do you? /eyes you all~~

It looks like a bit of organizing may be necessary for Ichijou's angry mob. I wasn't sure how many people would be in on it, but we've got at least 5(!!) so far and are open to as many as LITERALLY EVERYONE.

(Current positions:

Ichijou: Psychotic leader, manicurist, loose cannon, torture technician
Croix: Ladies' man, cool tough guy, voice of reason, ROCKET LAAAAAAANCE

Hey Luministi, what's up? Some person here with this guy Nero from Devil May Cry 4. I was originally going to go for Yuki Judai from Yugioh GX! some months ago but, well, yeah. Nero sounded more fun, somehow.

Even though he's a bigger jerk. Sometimes. It depends.

He's also snarky and somewhere between lame and cheesy. Or he's both at the same time. It's Devil May Cry, I think both are to be expected and both are necessary! Missiles, guys, missiles!

In a big, big nutshell, it's not only a much darker world with some very different mechanics, but there's no real world locations at all. In this AU, humans are power-hungry, greedy and generally Not Nice people who treat pokemon like disposable tools and weapons for the most part. Those that treat them as friends etc are either forced to hide their views(such as Leaf), outcasts or Rangers.

Arceus is God, and Legendries are lesser gods called Immortals and while pokemon are at times revered.. all humanity sees, mostly, is something to be used and caught (if they can, though Immortals have their own lines of defense)

Leaf herself? Her name is Fumiko Kasahara. She' s 19, the Kantou champion and comes across as something of an airhead that's painfully polite and speaks extremely polite Japanese. An added note is that I will be using the Japanese names in Leaf's dialogue, though not in narrative. Basically, something like this:

"My name is Fumiko. I come from Sekichiku City and my best friend is Anzu-chan." But Leaf really means she comes from Fuchsia city and is best friends with Janine.

Leaf does make use of Japanese honorifics, so please head over here if you get confused. Her app, with a full run down of her world can be found here. There's a HMD as well, so feel free to hit that up if you think that I need it, along with pokemon here, though the only two she has are the Natu and Rapidash, as per mod approval. Oh and her permissions post is here.

Here's the latest plot update, and it includes a quick-time event, which means we've got some work to do, y'all! And fast!

Long story short, Proctor needs people to turn stuff on. We can do this in groups, or we can do it individually, or whatever. The point is, we need people to contact Proctor on that post and get some directions, and then follow them. Otherwise, life support (et al.) is not gonna be turned back on and I don't know about you guys, but I don't want to die already. ^^;;

Is your character up for the task? Are they sitting this one out? Are you looking for someone to join up with? Do you want to go it alone? Do you have any thoughts, ideas, comments etc that you want to share with the class? That's what this post is for! Go ahead and mingle! Post whatever OoC stuff you want here for the sake of organization and finding yourself some CR!

As it's figured out who is doing what, I can edit this post to reflect the different groups doing different things, and provide links if y'all want/if it's necessary. I don't mind at all. o/

I hope it's all right to post this here! As some of you know, I've been working on sprites for our entire cast and DKDJNSKDKSD I'M FINALLY DONE /o/

It was a pretty long and hard battle. I spent so many nights weeping over the complex designs...... ;_; LOL, just kidding! (I did curse out people who designed armor and bikini-dancer girls though, whoops...)

Anyway, check them out! Our ENTIRE CAST in sprite form! Feel free to use them for whatever. I went into this canon-blind for most of them, so if I did anything wrong, do tell me and I'll fix it. :')

Okay...I should have done this a week ago, but I've been stubborn like, "Nooo, the game just opened! I'll find time, really!" The truth is, RL is hitting me hard right now, and my RP time is very limited. So, I'm going to call a proper slowatus--I'll try to tag some when I can, but it will probably be few and far between. This affects Sophie Hatter from now (well, last week) until June 5. And then I'll be looking forward to diving properly into the game!
