Hey everyone,

I know this has been going for a couple weeks already really, but I finally give and I'm calling a real slow-atus--which in this case is basically a hiatus in which I plan to come back and finish things at the end of the game but I might be a bit late in doing so. I'm really overwhelmed with work and class right now, and I've been sick for the past week (so far) on top of it, and I just...can't brain anything. I've been slowly backtagging, and I'll try to keep that up. If I'm being too slow and you don't want to continue anything, just let me know or drop it if you prefer. Sorry guys! Sophie and I hope to be back in time for the end of the game, but I'll be sporadic.

Hello, everyone! It is time for a How's My Driving? post!

If you choose to participate, comment here with the name and journal of your character(s) in the game, and other players will comment with constructive criticism and positive feedback about how you've been playing your character(s). In return, you can give feedback to other players, too! The idea here is that we're all working together in the game, so naturally we want to help each other's performance.

To make this as positive and helpful as possible, there are a few guidelines:
1. As mentioned above, we want this to be constructive. It is most helpful for other players if you are as specific as possible with your comments/advice. That way, the players will have a clear idea of what you feel they need to improve upon--or keep doing!
2. We want to encourage everyone to be open and honest, but in the interest of allowing you to feel safe, anonymous commenting is enabled.
3. Trolling and flames are not permitted. This about helping each other to improve, and neither of those things would accomplish that, so please be polite and constructive with the advice that you give.
4. This is completely optional. You don't have to post with your character if you would rather not receive feedback.

So uh. H-hi guys. :|;;;;;

Ari here. Aaaaaaaaaas you may have noticed over the past week or so, I have been a complete and utter failget when it comes to responding to tags or really doing anything constructive with my time. There are all sorts of explanations for this (work completely draining me of any energy I had I've slept 10+ hours for the past two nights straight >_>;;, being out of town last weekend, etc) but basically it all boils down to me failing. :|

BUT I'M GONNA CHANGE ALL THAT. also props to anyone who catches that reference!

Tomorrow morning I am going to tag ALL OF THE THINGS. I'll be tagging everything on Riku's post--if you don't want to continue tagging a centuries-old thread though, I completely understand XD;;; So feel free to let them drop if you want! I'll also be finally making the Rapunzel post I've owed forever and ever and ever. And because this notice is here I AM ACCOUNTABLE!

I should still have internet access, but they live out in the boonies where the weather still influences internet functionality, and I'll be spending lots of time with them. I need to go on a hiatus for a bit. This weekend, I'll be visiting a friend (and riding roller coasters eeee~ ♥). Next week at the lab is going to be nuts, and I will likely be staying late pretty much every day. That aside, I will also be spending next week packing, because the following weekend I am moving out of my apartment and into a different apartment that doesn't charge me an extra arm-and-a-leg every damn month just 'cause I decided I wanted to adopt kitties. :| But yeah, that pretty much means life's about to get a little crazy... ^^;

So yeah, the latest I'll be back is August 14. I may be back before that, but I'll probably be a little slow.

So, to kick things back into gear during this plot-break, and now that LJ is relatively back to normal, let's have a meme!

Hellllllooooooo, Luministi! This is going to be kind of a bit of an odd intro post, because it is written by not one, but two new—returning :|—players! But all things considered, we felt like this worked pretty well, so.

So we agreed to this ridiculous experiment. I believe it is mostly Ari's attempts to make me do her work for her. D: But it fits! Because we are bringing in a character pair.

I am not! You should've heard Jade's attempts earlier on to make me do all the work of writing the thing. It was ridiculous. AND VERY LIKE THE CHARACTER SHE'LL BE BRINGING IN. Jade, you see, is going to be bringing to Luministi the ONE AND ONLY ~*FLYNN RIDER*~ (don't ask for autographs; it only makes his head swell up bigger). He's coming from right after his (SPOILERS~) death at the end of the movie.

I cannot believe the slander Ari tries to pawn off as facts! I would never make such attempts. She may try to act innocent, but she'll never manage the amount of cuteness and innocence that is appearing in Luministi with the arrival of ~*RAPUNZEL*~, Flynn's much better half and the most adorable bundle of (one drop of) sunshine that exists! She'll be coming from right after the lanterns-scene, just after her and Flynn's almost-kiss.

But although I am not nearly as adorable as Rapunzel, I can personally guarantee that Jade is just as scheming as Flynn is. So. You should probably watch out for her. Also, she enjoys long walks on the beach, all manner of dogs (especially when they steal her things and sleep on her pillows!), and pretending to be dudes on the internet.

Incredibly handsome dudes. ...you all know Ari is full of lies, right? D: Please welcome me back to Luministi, but evade Ari while you still have the time!

...you can ignore her. :D But yes! She is Jade and I am ~~Awesome~~ Ari, and the two of us are going to be bringing you Flynn and Rapunzel from Disney's Tangled. Iiiiiiii am also going to be bringing another character into this mix--I will also be bringing Luministi RIKU, from the game Kingdom Hearts. :> Riku is taken directly following his scene with Maleficent on Hook's pirate ship, so he's still in the middle of his little jerk phase. And because he's in that phase, he's got some pretty nifty powers that he can use, like making little Anti-yous pop up all over if he decides to... so if you guys would all be willing to fill out a quick permissions post for Riku, too, that would be fantastic ♥

With all that said and in mind, HELLO LUMINISTI! I THINK I SPEAK FOR THE BOTH OF US WHEN I SAY WE LOOK FORWARD TO PLAYING WITH YOU ALL! ♥

So the name is Curry, hi. I am here because of Maggie.

I'm bringing in Jimmy, who is a fawg, which isn't quite the same thing as a frog. Or, if you want it more simply, he was a frog, and now he's been turned into a boy. His application and permissions are both on his journal. The only real thing to note — he lisps, which I definitely won't be typing out in action-tags and probably won't type out in most log-tags.

And I'm.. going to hope this submits, stop being a jerk, eljay. (I'll intro him sometime later, when the site is actually behaving itself.)

Hola, Luministi folks! There's been a brilliant idea proposed that maybe we should have a separate OoC sign-up post, so we can see at a glance who is going to what target, and what happens there once the threads/posts/etc go up.

So, if y'all could do me a huge favor and comment here with where you think we should target, and/or who you want to go after each target, that would be fantastic. I'll update it as y'all comment/confirm/deny/rethink... anything! I'm going to comb through the OoC post before this on my own and gather up what I can.
