Well he did cut off someone's head once with the 'ease of a practised executioner,' I believe was the wording. Sooooo...

That sounds like me with Brideshead. I did read other books by her - The Dark Lord of Derkholm and Year of the Griffin, were the titles, I think - so I know I like her writing.
